Specialty Services

From wildfires to cycling events with movie/production sets and mass gathering events in between, Wildland Fire Rescue goes just about anywhere your event needs a Paramedic or where you want one simply for peace of mind for your patrons.

We are licensed by the State of Idaho EMS Bureau as an Advanced Level Service with no jurisdictional boundaries within our state.  What does this mean for you?  We go anywhere.

We work with local resources prior to our arrival to help educate them about our responsibilities and the benefit of decreasing the need on local resources.  This in-turn helps curb over-time and operational costs for the local EMS agency as well as keeps those resources avail for dispatching of 911 calls.  In this current economic environment, we all need to be stewards of tax-dollars and resources.

Typically our services are paid for by the event sponsor and thereby take the billing of a patient out of the equation.  This holds true as we typically do an equipment or supply exchange with the ambulance service that transports a patient, should the need arise.

Some of the events/all-risk incidents we have been requested for include:

  • Mountain bike & cycling events
  • National Reined Cow Horse Association events
  • Television and documentary production sets
  • Columbia Shuttle Disaster 2003
  • Hurricane Response Katrina and Rita 2005 -utf due to military deployment
